Gaylord-Hansen Mortgage Team at loanDepot
Bill is one of the founders of the Gaylord-Hansen Mortgage Team at loanDepot. Growing up in Boulder, CO, Bill moved to study at the University of Arizona where as a freshman he rode the coattails of the basketball team into the UofA Hall of Fame. Since his college days, Bill has relocated to Southern California, where he has held a number of high-level positions in the mortgage industry. In 2018, he and several other members of the Gaylord-Hansen Team moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to start helping Las Vegas families finance their homes.
Known as “Mr. Positive”, Bill is someone who always brings a positive attitude and sees the good in every situation. In his office, he is known for high-fiving just about anyone, and won’t shy away from giving hugs! His enthusiasm for life allows him to create a fun work atmosphere for both his colleagues and business partners. But don’t let his happy-go-lucky exterior fool you. Using his intensively competitive attitude, Bill knows when to shift his focus back to business. He always sets the highest standards for himself and his team, and has a way with his unspoken candor and body language to motivate anyone to their highest level. A true leader, Bill enjoys what he does so much that his daily work often feels more like a hobby than a “job”.
In his free time, Bill is involved in putting on numerous events throughout the year, including the ever-popular Building Business Monthly (BBM) lunches. He is the Chairman of the Gaylord-Hansen Shoe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that donates thousands of new and used shoes to school kids each year. Bill is also the past Chairman of the Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation, and received the recognition of 2013 North San Diego County Association of REALTORS® (NSDCAR) Affiliate of the Year.
